I’ve got some trip planning to plan! Hubby’s 10 year high school reunion is coming up in July I think, so we will be heading “home” to Florida then. I’m trying to figure out if we will be driving straight through (it’s 10 hours to Jacksonville and then 3 1/2 more hours to “Home” – so – 13 1/2 hours total.) I mention Jacksonville because I’d really like to stop in and hang out with the old friends for a bit. But, we could always do that as a side trip and spend the night up there after we drop the dog off.
But, what about a mid-way point? I’m not talking about checking out the Hilton Head rentals (although, that would be nice) – just a “I don’t feel like being in the car for 14 hours lets stop” type thing.
I will be making the trip again without hubby in September also. I will DEFINETLY need to stop overnight at some point then.
