Here is a neat idea for a Mom’s Night/Day Out from my playgroup. A soup tasting party! The weather is getting cooler and I know at least in our house I’m making soup more and more (and not just the canned crap – I mean homemade baby!). A soup tasting party is when everyone brings a large pot of their favorite soup (with recipes). Everyone the soups and vote on our favorite. A prize is awarded to the overall favorite. The hostess provides appetizers, drinks and bread. You also bring some Gladware, so you can bring some home.
