Kick-Ass Mom’s in the JuiceBox Jungle

14 December 2009 No Comment

Real stories of motherhood don’t usually include things that would remind a person of “Donna Reed” or “Ozzie and Harriet.” Real parenting is messy, loud, happy, sad, stressful, rewarding and, did I mention, loud? I was so happy to have been invited by my friend (and fellow mommy-blogger) Lisa to check out an awesome website called JuiceBoxJungle.

Moderated by two former HBO execs and moms Melissa and Philippa, the videos at JuiceBoxJungle tackle fun and edgy parenting topics on a range of issues you actually care about. It’s fun, spicy and best of all REAL.

There are over 350 kickass, top mom blogs in the JuiceBoxJungle ad network and I am so proud to be included!

Here’s what Smart Brief had to say about the JuiceBoxJungle ad network:

"The network has the potential to reach 10 million online users, and is comprised
of top mommy blogs across categories. For even greater engagement, brands combine the messaging in the JuiceBox with sponsored blog posts, or "Blog Fodder" about their product, Online Media Logo making JBJ’s marketing solution a market-first."

Entertainment Weekly dubbed JuiceBoxJungle’s humorous, hip original content as “Sex and the City…with kids!”

The JuiceBox widget (on my sidebar) is begging me to go out to dinner (and the deals from Restaurant.com, who is sponsoring this post, are tempting as well). During the holidays, we don’t get out anywhere near enough, but when we do we love to have dinner and hit a movie. Date night is a NO KIDS event and it happens every once in a blue moon! Our next “date night” will hopefully be PF Changs an awesome Chinese/American restaurant that hubby has been to but I haven’t! Now we just need a babysitter …

Where do YOU like to go on “date night” without the kids? Share your favorites!
