Real stories of motherhood don’t usually include things that would remind a person of “Donna Reed” or “Ozzie and Harriet.” Real parenting is messy, loud, happy, sad, stressful, rewarding and, did I mention, loud? I was so happy to have been invited by my friend (and fellow mommy-blogger) Lisa to check out an awesome website called JuiceBoxJungle.

During the holidays, we don’t get out anywhere near enough, but when we do we love to have dinner and hit a movie. Date night is a NO KIDS event and it happens every once in a blue moon! Our next “date night” will hopefully be PF Changs an awesome Chinese/American restaurant that hubby has been to but I haven’t! Now we just need a babysitter …
