Whoever said that going to college and balancing your home life was easy was insane! This week was finals week for this particular school term and boy was I busy. My poor child and husband were kinda ignored this week (along with the laundry, the dishes and the dinners) and I feel bad. Especially since my husband had to go on a business trip leaving me with a grumpy little guy to take care of.

So what have we been doing? Well – last night we met up with some friends at the mall play area / food court. It was great to see them since the ‘adults’ are my friends – but the kids are Xander’s good friends also! We didn’t leave there until after 8:00pm – so I had a grumpy kid on my hands; but hey, he slept well that night!

Tonight we’re playing some Kingdom Hearts II and eating Taco Bell.
