Save Money on Necessities
Right now – money is tight for everyone. It’s time to really learn how to save some cash! Clipping coupons can be time consuming but oftentimes it completely worth it. If you keep your coupon stash organized and up-to-date you will really see a difference in your monthly bills. Coupon swap with friends or your child’s playgroup! Maybe your friend gets different coupons in the mail than you – what they don’t use could be of use to you and vice-versa!
Another way to save money is to simple read blogs that can keep you updated on sales and specials that stores offer. There are several out there – you simply have to search for them. Subscribe to them using an RSS reader and you can get daily updates and really keep up on your savings.
Check out offline and online stores that eliminate the “middle man” and sell you products without all that extra mark-up. There is a mattress place near me that claims to make their own mattresses and sell directly to clients. Might be worth a check if you are in the market for a new bed!
Another store that I hear a lot of positive things about is an eyeglasses store called Zenni Optical. Their glasses are about a quarter of the cost of the ones you can find in the store. I wear glasses and I can tell you they are EXPENSIVE! The military might pay for a doctor visit – but they certainly don’t just give spouses glasses for free. In most cases the glasses are more expensive than the doctor visit!
So seriously, do your research and learn how to (really) save money. It will PAY OFF (pun intended!)
