A local Girl Scout group was recently scammed by a man who presented them with two counterfit $50 bills in order to get change. This happened outside the local Cici’s pizza off Lynnhaven. The troop leader noticed something was a off with the bills and called the police. Thankfully, the little girls will still get credit for the $100 that they lost. But as their troop leader stated – it takes a “special” kind of person to do this to a bunch of little 6 and 7 year olds.
